We are Northland's most trusted print company.
Calder Print, as it was formerly known, first opened its doors in Cameron Street, Whangarei in 1929, with the company founded by the late Wallace Calder.
Aside from a brief closure during the World War II, the company has continued to offer reliable and trusted service to customers across Northland and beyond, for over 90 years.
In 1995, Calders expanded into design as well as printing, with the amalgamation of three local companies to form 'Calders Design & Print Company Ltd'. The company remained in family ownership until 2004, when four long-serving and passionate staff members bought out the Calder family, but kept the business name to acknowledge the strong reputation Calders has in the local business community.
Today the team at Calders includes the perfect balance of new ideas and long-standing experience, with new faces bringing energy and drive to grow the company into the future, as well as the extensive knowledge and experience of Calder's longer serving employees, including one printing legend who's been with the company for more than 40 years.
Calders is proud to have been a cornerstone of the Whangarei business community for over 90 years, having supported many other businesses to grow and prosper through the support of professional design and printing services.
Calders is excited to have moved from its former premises in Dairy House, Poto Street, at the beginning of 2020 to new offices in Bouganville Street, allowing for expansion of both design and printing services.
