Arrowhead Archery - as well as a complete redesign and rebuild, we also rewrote all the content to further enhance the marketing and SEO of the site. The new content is user/customer focused, seeking to provide information from their perspective and meet their needs rather than the old traditional business-focused approach which only inundates a customer with general facts about the service. |

Aarangi Tui Motel - after completely renovating their motel, the owners, Phoebe and Pete, knew the next step was to bring their web site into the 21st century as well. Calders completely redesigned and rebuilt the site (originally provided by the AA) giving it a nice clean modern look. Other upgrades included SEO techniques and improvements to the functionality of the site. |

Davies Bay Holiday Homes - this is the kind of site that makes you glad to be in Godzone and especially the winterless north. Showcases the beautiful private beaches, the classic Kiwi holiday homes and baches and the great times waiting to be had by guests. |

Marine & Outdoors Unltd - this osCommerce based online store is fully customised in design and function to meet the specific needs of this innovative NZ business. Calders consulted with the client from the beginning of the project and was able to deliver a quality 'big-business' e-commerce site at reasonable small-business prices. With a great range of products and lots more features rolling out all the time we look forward to seeing Marine & Outdoors grow in leaps and bounds. |

Ecocruz Bay of Islands - first created in the mid-90's, this site was in desperate need of a redesign. Calders rebuilt it from scratch resulting in a more professional and engaging site and developing a more efficient and easy user interface. The site was recently updated with a 'fresher' more current look as well as flash animated headings and photo gallery. |

Avokado started with a print catalogue and developed into an online store, discussion forum and blog to give their customers a one-stop shop for all of their lingerie and swimwear needs. This is an ongoing labour of love by the husband and wife team, Jonny and Claire, who are always thinking of new ways that they can improve and add-on more functionality to serve their customers better. Calders is able to meet those needs through small-business friendly opensource (i.e. free) software packages such as the popular e-commerce package osCommerce which we've customised in both design and function. Johnnie and Claire are also able to manage most of the site functions themselves, including the email newsletter. |

Doug the Digger is a classic example of a small company truly leveraging the full potential of the internet and Calders Web Solutions as a powerful tool in their marketing arsenal. From a small 2 MB web site with 10-20 visitors a month, Doug the Digger has grown to a 80 MB site with visitors in the triple figures and continues to grow in leaps and bounds. Doug also has really fun books, CDs, puzzles and t-shirts enjoyed by kids of all ages, many of which continue to sell directly from this site. |

Northland Forest Managers (1995) Ltd. wanted a clean, uncluttered and printer-friendly layout - ease of use for their customers was one of their top priorities - and of course it had to look good. It works well too, with its simple and powerful foundation of HTML, PHP and CSS code and a dash of Javascript here and there for flavour. |

Northport - Northport Ltd is the port operating company for the ports of Whangarei and Marsden Point. This site is an excellent example of Northport's adaptability and the cost-savings brought about by adopting powerful opensource technology. Previously a 5-page brochure site with a simple MS Word document/FTP upload system running the daily shipping schedule, this site now uses the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) with an integrated custom programmed shipping schedule. Even non-technical users find it easy to update the site, create new pages and manage the shipping schedule no matter where in the world they are logging in from. Northport's manager, Brett, loves the new system and says "It is exactly what we were after." |

Knight Diver Tours - the new owners Don & Angie came to Calders to update the look of this 4 year old web site. Of particular concern was the fact that the previous design used search engine unfriendly 'frames.' We completely redesigned and rebuilt it using modern search engine optimised layout and code and an aquatic themed look and feel so not only does it look much better, but it also works better. Riverland Villas - Neal & Reg put a lot of work into transforming their Tutukaka Coast estate into a luxurious romantic getaway and wanted a web site that conveyed the same attention to detail, elegance and taste. This new site uses the latest in PHP, DHTML, CSS and Flash and has been optimised for search engine compatibility. Neal & Reg's reaction to the finished product may not be repeatable in public, but needless to say they reeeeeeally love it. |

Chelsea House B&B - the owners Cliff & Nola heard about Calders via word-of-mouth and contacted us to produce a simple yet elegant site design for their restored villa B&B. The web site is their primary form of advertising and Cliff & Nola knew Calders would be able to come up with something that looks good and is built the right way so as to appeal to potential customers and is optimised for search engines. |

Northland Sea Kayaking - the owner of this tourism enterprise came to Calders because he'd done some Google searches for businesses like his and found that Calders was responsible for some highly ranked sites and wanted the same kind of search engine optimisation (SEO) and web design know-how applied to his new site. We came up with a design that he said "looks great!" and an update of his logo bringing the company into the 21st century while still highlighting the timeless beauty of the pristine Northland coastline. |

Horawainui Supa Santas is a Gertrudis stud and cattle farm looking to bring their operation into the 21st century. Their new site is an important tool in their marketing arsenal and showcases their commitment to quality. Starting from a rough brief and a 'homemade' logo draft, Calders came up with new branding and a search engine optimised site. |

Decks of Paihia - this site was created based only a brief description and not much else. The owners, Phil and Wendy knew that along with the top quality print work being done, they could count on Calders to come up with an elegantly simple web site design that they would be proud for the world to see. Phil and Wendy really liked their new logo, an unlooked for side benefit of the web site design, which they called "brilliant" - appropriate for a site about sun-drenched decks. |

RSB is Northland's top covers band, in great demand for private, school and corporate functions. Although not particularly web-minded themselves they recognise the need for a well-designed and informative web site as part of their marketing strategy. |

Global Music - this client has a lifelong passion for music and came to Calders to build this family of web sites after receiving exorbidant quotes from other companies for an e-commerce site totally unsuited to small business. Calders was able to create branding and design and develop an internet solution that the folks at Global Music found powerful, intuitive and easy to manage even with their web novice skills. After minimal guidance they were able to operate the online shopping system and even update and continue to build the four sites themselves. |
