1. Choose a domain name: this is the web address of your site - www.yoursite.co.nz. For a small annual fee this address is registered with a world-wide database and reserved so that no one else can use it. Particularly if you're running any kind of a serious website or business, it is much more memorable and professional to have a unique name that people can associate with you and your site.

2. Select a hosting package: hosting is the process of renting space on a web server (usually on an annual basis) for the files (html pages, graphics, email accounts, etc.) that comprise your web account. A web server is an ultra-secure computer that is connected to the internet 24/7.
   
   Our most popular hosting package gives you 10 MB of space and includes an unlimited amount of email addresses, and lots of other features for only $15/month (ex. GST). We 've found that 10 MB is a great starting size for small to medium sized sites.
